Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a wedding or event? Here are some FAQs and advice to consider when planning your special event:

What type of music do you play?

Probably the most important question to ask your potential DJ.

I am a multi-genre DJ with an eclectic library of songs spanning several decades with a penchant for funk, soul, Motown, disco, hip-hop and dance!

I can also perform specialist UK Garage and Urban sets.

Playlists will be custom made for your event based on the music you like and, just as importantly, the music you don’t!

Which areas do you cover?

I can cover inner London, greater London and its surrounding counties. I can also perform further afield or abroad if required having played at weddings and events in Scotland, Ireland, France, Spain, Greece and Cyprus.

How do we book you?

Fill in an enquiry form indicating the date, location of the event, number of hours you require me to play and the approximate number of guests you expect to attend.

After receiving your enquiry can then provide a quote for the lighting and sound equipment that will meet your needs. Dancefloors, props, photo booths, and other aspects of production can be arranged upon request.

Once everything is confirmed, a small deposit will be required to secure your booking.

I would then recommend a consultation to ensure all of your music and production requests are catered for.

The venue are asking for certificates, do you have them?

Most venues will insist that performers use equipment that has been tested for electrical safety and are also covered for any potential accidents that may occur (Public Liability Insurance). I will liaise with the venue ahead of the event to provide the certification required.

What happens on the day of the event?

I will arrive at the venue ahead of the agreed set time to set up the equipment and be ready to play. I will have copy of your itinerary (mainly for weddings) to ensure that any special dances and other requests are played on time and in keeping with your plans.

Sometimes things do not always run on time, no problem! Over twenty years’ experience has taught me that preparation is vital for effective planning to be realised. If timings do go awry on the day I am completely adaptable and will liaise with your organisers and designated contacts on the day to ensure everything with regards to the music runs as smoothly as possible.

I carry an extensive library of music with me at every event so spur-of-the-moment requests can also be catered for!
